J. Skinner Baking Invests in Quality and Engineering

OMAHA, NEB. (October 10, 2023) – Today, The J. Skinner Co. (J. Skinner) announced recent additions to their leadership team. Art Aguilar has joined the bakery manufacturer as the Vice President of Engineering and Lenny Ogomo has been hired as Vice President of Quality Assurance.

“As we continue to grow, we have added world-class talent across our organization over the past year, and bringing Lenny in to oversee our quality assurance team will allow us to provide high-quality, reliable, and safe products for our consumers,” said Audie Keaton, President and CEO at J. Skinner. “Bringing Art back to J. Skinner to lead our engineering team will help us add automation, ensure mechanical reliability, and continue to invest in sustainability across our operations.”

With almost 20 years of maintenance and engineering experience, 16 of those in the food and beverage industry, Art Aguilar returns to J. Skinner, where he previously worked for four years in engineering leadership roles. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and holds his SQF Practitioner license, He earned his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Iberoamericana University and his Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad De Las Americas in Puebla, Mexico.

Lenny Ogomo returns home to Omaha, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience, including Quality Assurance management roles at both Creminelli and Chobani. He also is a member of the International Association of Food Protection. Lenny received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his Master’s in legal Studies from the University of Utah’s SJ Quiney Law School.
